Peanut Allergies, Take Them Seriously

A peanut allergy can be deadly serious, it should be treated that way. Did you know someone with a severe enough peanut allergy can have a reaction to acorns?! I sure didn’t. This young man died after eating half a cookie that had no taste of peanut. It was made with peanut oil. Please re-blog this so others can learn of the severe consequences of peanut allergies.

  1. Allergies are not to be taken lightly. I have a severe allergy to cow’s milk and the effects are horrible. I have the utmost respect, admiration, and sympathy for those of us who suffer from an allergy diagnosis. I’m fortunate to work for a school district who takes very seriously the threat of allergens on school campuses. In fact, we have one elementary campus that is completely nut and gluten-free.

I recently posted about this topic and provided several non-dairy alternatives to cook and bake with. Perhaps it will be helpful for you too.
